Job Description Summary:
This requirement is for a growing Product line in AMS (Analog Mixed Signal) group, which develops variety of high precision Delta-Sigma ADC Products for various applications. The Engineer will be mainly responsible for the Design, Simulation and Verification of the various blocks of the Delta-Sigma Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) with a focus on the Delta-Sigma Modulator.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the Architecture and Paper design of Delta-Sigma Modulator and peripheral blocks
•Responsible for the quality and the delivery of the Schematics to the Team
•Responsible for the complete design and simulation of the Delta-Sigma Modulator and it’s various sub-blocks
•Responsible for guiding and helping out various Layout engineers in implementing optimum Layout of the Modulator and other blocks
•Responsible for the detailed bench characterization of the Delta-Sigma Modulator and the ADC
•Responsible for debugging issues found in Silicon and responsible for fixing the Design/Layout bugs and modifying the design
•Responsible for supporting Applications engineering, Product engineering, Test engineering and Reliability engineering
•Functions as a Lead Design Engineer in the preparation of the Design documents.
Job Qualification:
-MS/M. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from a reputed University
-At least 6-7 years of experience in the design, development and validation of Analog CMOS ICs, Switched-Capacitor Circuits with an exposure to Delta-Sigma Modulator design is a must
-Strong Analog, Digital and Signal processing fundamentals
-Proven track record of designing successful products
-Understanding of full product development process
-Should be able to work effectively in a team environment
Should be familiar and competent with:
-Cadence Analog Design Environment, Schematic capture and SPECTRE simulation tools
-MATLAB, VERILOG A and related modeling and simulation tools
-Layout design tools including ASSURA
