Specific aspects of this initial assignment are: • Analysis of the company capital Plan and creation of a coordinated purchasing plan • Sourcing of New/Used equipment to meet the coordinated purchasing plan • Negotiation of Build specifications , delivery dates , total cost and general terms and conditions with the suppliers to ensure on time and within budget execution. • Purchasing of other capital expenditure as required by the company capital plan and coordinated purchasing plan • Provide pricing to the requesting community for the creation of Capital Requests / AFE’s • Creation and on-going execution of an equipment supplier management program including a continuous improvement/cost reduction program.
