BRIEF
Based in Harlow, Essex and working with colleagues in Milpitas California, to participate in all aspects of the development of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, including:
• Product definition and architectural development
• System and component level simulation and design
validation
• Layout and verification
• Prototype evaluation
• Test specification development and Test Engineering support
• Product release
• Application Engineering support
YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
A successful candidate will have the following skills:
• A good working knowledge of BiCMOS or CMOS technology
• Product knowledge in one of the following areas:
o Feedback control systems and compensation techniques
o Integrated pulse width modulated (PWM) power controllers with an emphasis on buck, boost, inverter or buck-boost topologies
o Regulated or unregulated charge pump circuits
o Battery management or power control systems
o High current, rail to rail CMOS op-amps
• Familiarity with Cadence design tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English)
• BSc or BEng in Electrical or Electronic engineering, MEng preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years industrial experience working in analog or mixed signal IC design
• 4 or more released products
• Good understanding of customer and market requirements
• Ability to work as part of a team and with low levels of supervision
• Leadership skills
